MR. SEAH MOON MING

Advisor

Mr. Seah was appointed Deputy CEO of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd on 1 May 2004, overseeing the Electronics and Land Systems sectors. He is concurrently President, Singapore Technologies Electronics (ST Electronics), a position he has held since 8 December 1997 after serving as Managing Director from 1 July 1997. Mr. Seah was General Manager of CET Technologies, a subsidiary of ST Electronics, from July 1994 to July 1997. He was also appointed Vice Chairman of ECS Holdings Limited on 3 January 2005, which is listed on SGX-ST.

 

Mr. Seah is Chairman of the Board of Governors, Temasek Polytechnic, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore. He is also a member of the National Information & Communications Technology, Australia ;  an Executive Council member of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and a member of the Network India Steering Committee of International Enterprise Singapore . He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (with Distinction) from the Naval Postgraduate School, USA.

 

MR. NEO KOK BENG
Chairman

Mr. Neo is Managing Director and founder of NextWave Biomedical. He oversees the company development from product R&D to current regional operations.

 

He left ST Electronics in 2002 as Vice-President; where he developed new businesses in information security, mobile payment system, mobile computing devices; and GPS/GPRS telematics unit.

He has worked in Silicon Valley & Shanghai. He sets up Incubators@Work!, Singapore Technologies corporate entrepreneurship programme. Mr. Neo has a MBA(NTU) and B.Eng(Hons)(NUS) and attended the fellowship programme on Science, Technology & Innovation Policy at Kennedy School , Harvard University .

 

MR. CHAY YEE MENG
Director

Chay Yee Meng, a Certified Public Accountant, began his working career as an Audit and Tax Accountant with Arthur Young & Company (now known as Ernst & Young). In 1987, he was named Director and Financial Controller of SCI Manufacturing, a US based electronics manufacturing company. He was later named as Asia Regional Controller.

 

In 1992, he co-founded Natsteel Electronics Pte Ltd, which was later merged with US-based Solectron Technology, Inc. He served as CFO of Natsteel Electronics from 1992 to 2001, then as Solectron's Head of Finance, Asia-Pacific Region until 2003.

 

Mr Chay also co-founded ECS Holdings Ltd, and served as Founding Director and CFO until ECS went IPO in 2001. He still serves as non-executive director and as an audit committee member at ECS.

 

In 2003, Mr Chay co-founded Infowave Pte Ltd, an Infocomm R&D company developing and marketing industrial computers for wireless computing, RFID devices, supply chain solutions, and real-time monitoring solutions. He was officially appointed as Director of the NKF on January 17, 2006.

MR. NG CHONG KHIM
Director

Mr. Ng is Deputy President (Corporate Services & Marketing) of ST Electronics; and concurrently President of the Communication and Sensors System (CSG) of ST Electronics. Mr. Ng joined ST Electronics in July 1997 as Senior Vice-President and GM of CET Technologies. Prior to this appointment, he held senior management positions in Singapore Computer Systems and Telecom Equipment.

 

He is members of the Advisory Committees of the Bachelor of Technology Programme (NUS) and Network Technology Research Centre (NTU).  Mr. Ng graduated with M Sc. (Industrial & System Engineering) and B. Eng (Electrical) from NUS. He has completed the Programme for Management Development at Harvard Business School.

 

MR. HENN TAN
Director

Mr. Tan is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Trek 2000 Limited, a SGX-ST main-board listed company. Mr. Tan has been an Executive Director since the Company's inception. As Chairman and CEO, he is responsible for leading the management in building and developing the Group's operations as well as strengthening its management structure for future growth and expansion.

 

Mr. Tan has more than 20 years' experience in the electronics industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree. He holds numerous patents under his name and he was awarded the Ernst & Young Emerging Enterpreneur of the Year in 2002.
